Descendants of Jacob LEEFLANG & Aagtje Claasdr SWART

Jacob and Aagtje lived in Hillegersberg , Zuid-Holland, Netherlands, currently a suburb of Rotterdam. Although all their children were born in Hillegersberg, some eventually relocated to the Schoorl and the Zijpe areas.
Pieter LEEFLANG married Klasina van HAM in 1881. Klasina's mother was Janijtje KISTEMAKER and through her Pieter's children would be 4th cousins twice removed to Case Vanderplas, the originator of this site.

Reindert TUINMAN (1889-1962) was born and raised in Anna Pauwlona. NH The Netherlands. He emigrated to The United States of America in 1914, landing on Ellis Island, New York, April 14th. Reindert is a direct descendant of the captioned couple, see his Pedigree Chart.

Reindert is one of our 'almost' cousins. His 3rd greatgrandmother, Anna Caterina VERGERS first husband Pieter de WILDE died and she then married Sijmon SWAAKMAN. Sijmon and his first wife were direct descendants of ours. (got that?)
